Sign-in by email link
A steward, patroller, installer or admin types their email and the site sends a link; tapping it, or typing the six-digit code in the same email, signs this phone in until June 1, and there is no password. Anyone the program knows by email may sign in, and every program email to a steward carries their own link. With no signal, the page says to sign in at home or at the depot rather than send a link to an inbox that cannot load.

Three ways to build it
Low not chosen
Only Jamie signs in, through Django's built-in admin with a password. Nobody else has pages.
Medium not chosen
Email link that lasts a day. Stewards sign in each time; installers at a trailhead find themselves signed out.
High committed
Email link that lasts the season, carried in every program email, with the no-signal message. Committed: an installer must stay signed in on the Home Screen app with no signal.
What the tests prove
- Seasonone link or code signs one phone in until June 1 PT and refuses after it.
- A weeka link not tapped within a week is refused with the expired words.
- Oncea link or code works once; five wrong codes end that code.
- Neutralan unknown email gets the same message as a known one.
- Carriedevery program email to a steward holds that steward's own link.

Decided
- Who may sign in: anyone the program knows by email (ADR 0004), not the ladder on #29; the email address is the person (ADR 0007). It lets people update their survey answers later (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #59).
- End date: a sign-in lasts until the next June 1 PT; an emailed link works for a week if not tapped (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #59).
- A code as well as the link, for Home Screen apps; at most three sign-in emails per address per hour; the shared sign-in is retired when this lands (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #59).
- The no-signal message stands as drafted (Jamie, 2026-10-22 PT, #59).
